Terms

Last updated: 3 October 2026

These terms describe how WalkTheTalk is intended to work: what a challenge is and what we do and don't promise.

WalkTheTalk is in MVP development. This is a pre-launch draft published for transparency and will be finalised and legally reviewed before the app is released.

What WalkTheTalk is

WalkTheTalk is a fitness accountability app. You choose a challenge with a daily activity goal and a duration, and the app measures your progress using health and activity data from Apple Health.

WalkTheTalk is not a medical or diagnostic product.

Challenges and challenge rules

Each challenge publishes its own rules before you join: the daily goal, the duration and the entry requirements. The rules shown at the moment you join are the rules that apply to you for that challenge.

Measuring progress

Challenge progress is based on supported health and activity data, not on manually entered numbers. You are responsible for keeping Apple Health permissions enabled and your device set up so that your activity is recorded. Data that is missing because tracking was disabled, a device was not carried, or permissions were revoked cannot be counted.

Fair use

Attempting to manipulate activity data — for example by generating movement artificially or by submitting another person’s data — may result in disqualification from a challenge and closure of your account.

Your health

Only join challenges that are appropriate for you. WalkTheTalk does not provide medical advice; consult a qualified professional before starting a new activity routine if you have any doubts.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product develops, and we will make the current version available here. Questions: talk@walkthetalk.app. WalkTheTalk is operated by APEX SOLUTIONS LAB.
