The honest part

We all know how this goes.

You know you should move more. Your couch knows you should move more. Your Apple Watch definitely knows.

  • “I'll start Monday.”

    Monday arrives. Nothing happens.

  • “I'm too busy.”

You somehow found 47 minutes to scroll TikTok.

  • “I'll go tomorrow.”

Tomorrow has been rescheduled 14 times.

  • “I need motivation.”

That's exactly why we built WalkTheTalk.

Motivation is unreliable.

Commitment is better.

How it works

Four steps. Zero spreadsheets.

Join a challenge, commit to a daily goal, and let your phone do the counting. That’s the whole product.

  1. 01

    Pick a challenge

Choose something realistic — then commit to it properly.

    10,000 steps a day, for 20 days.

  2. 02

    Make it official

Lock in your commitment and join everyone else taking on the same challenge.

Not for the likes. Because it’s a lot harder to skip a day when other people are showing up too.

  3. 03

    Walk the walk

Connect Apple Health and WalkTheTalk tracks your progress automatically. No screenshots, no manually entering “trust me bro, I definitely did 12,000 steps”.

    Apple Health keeps score.

  4. 04

    Finish strong

Complete the challenge, keep your streak alive and prove to yourself that you actually meant it.

    Show up. Stay consistent. WalkTheTalk.

Apple Health

No screenshots.
No honor system.

Connect Apple Health and let your phone do the counting. Progress updates on its own, every single day.

“We trust Apple Health more than your ‘I definitely walked 10K today.’”

  • Automatic step tracking

Your iPhone and Apple Watch already count. We just read the number.

  • Daily progress

See exactly how close today is to counting — before the day is over.

  • Challenge history

Every challenge you've joined, finished, or heroically attempted.

  • Streaks

The number you'll refuse to break at 11:40pm in your hallway.

  • Verified progress

Challenge results come from health data, not from vibes.

FAQ

The honest answers.

If something still isn’t clear, that’s on us — write to us and ask us anything.

What is WalkTheTalk?
WalkTheTalk is a fitness accountability app for iOS. You join a step challenge, commit to a daily goal, connect Apple Health. Your phone tracks the rest.
How do challenges work?
Every challenge defines a daily step goal and a duration — for example 10,000 steps a day for 20 days. Once you join, WalkTheTalk reads your daily step data from Apple Health and marks each day as complete or not. All of a challenge's rules are shown before you join.
What happens if I complete the challenge?
You get the completion badge, a streak to be proud of and the bragging rights. Then you pick the next one.
What happens if I don't complete it?
Nothing dramatic. Your progress and streak history stay in the app, and you can start a new challenge whenever you're ready.
How does Apple Health verify my steps?
With your explicit permission, WalkTheTalk reads the step data your iPhone and Apple Watch already record into Apple Health. Daily progress is calculated from that data, so there's nothing to upload and nothing to prove.
Can I manually enter my steps?
No. Challenge progress is based on supported health and activity data rather than manually entered numbers.
Do I need an iPhone?
For the initial version, yes — WalkTheTalk is built for iOS and uses Apple Health.
Where can I get WalkTheTalk?
It's out! WalkTheTalk is free on the App Store for iPhone (and Apple Watch). Download it and join your first challenge.
